1 US peck = 8.809767542 liters (approximately).
About the US peck
Anyone who has recited the tongue twister about Peter Piper has met the peck, a dry measure of a quarter bushel. The American version is about 8.81 L, or 8 dry quarts, and the imperial peck set after 1824 is larger at about 9.09 L. Scotland had its own pecks before that act, roughly 9 L for wheat, peas, beans and meal and about 13 L for barley, oats and malt, with four pecks making a firlot.
In Britain the peck is obsolete apart from the rhyme and a few older Bible translations, where it appears in Matthew 5:15. In the United States it lingers in grocery stores and farm stands, where apples and some other produce are still sold by the peck. NIST gives the US peck as 8.809768 L.
